I am not sure of my rights in regard to this problem but want to be fair in what I do going forward
My house keeper refuses to return to work as she says she has a sick relative that she needs to care of. Her annual leave and family responsibility leave will be exhausted on 30 July. She informs me that she expects to be able to return in September but is not sure. While I sympathize with her situation I do not believe this to be fair and was wondering if this would be grounds for termination her contract for absconding?
