Urge Incontinence
I'm a 41 year old woman and my history as follows: 1 successful pregnancy, 1 miscarriage at 9 weeks, hysterectomy at age 37, diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fybromyalgia at age 36. Currently taking the following medication: on Arava, Methrotrexate, Cymgen, Lyrica, Salazopyrin EN 500 mg, Tramal SR100 and Arcoxian. The last 2 years I've been battling with incontinence and from what I've read on the internet it seems to be urge incontinence. I would very suddenly have the urge to urinate and have no control over it. It is very embarrassing and humiliating as it happens at any time and anywhere. I drink a lot of water and this results in the sudden urge with no control over it to happen a number of time per day. I also have to get up at least 8 to 10 times or more per night to urinate. I've tried to not take any liquids at a certain time of day to see if it will help for getting up less at night but it made no difference. I also cannot stop drinking any water while I'm at work as this is not healthy and I spend long hours at work. What can I do to mitigate this embarrassing situation and what would my next steps be to get this under control? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
