Hi CB
I suffer with pain from my left shoulder to my elbow more in the centre area, feels like a shooting pain from a nerve inbetween the muscles. What could this be, I also suffer with upper left neck pain.

It is possible that you have spasm from one or more muscles inside the neck. I suggest that you consult your doctor for medication to alleviate your pain and a referral to a physio therapist, in order to have the muscle spasm treated with massaging, heat and ultrasound therapy.
