Blood around anus after passing stool
This is a bit of a sensitive topic, but I'll try and ask my question as diplomatic as possible.
I've noticed that sometimes after passing stool when I'm cleaning myself; there's some blood on the toilet paper.
What could be the cause of this?

Dear Piola
It could be an anal tear or a hemorroid. If it is painful or you feel a swelling, let your GP have a look and prescribe you some ointment.
