blood clot in kidneys
with no factors that led to this ,what could have caused this clotting in my daughter? The doctors think some sort of auto immune, what could this be. Please im worried. Patti
Dear Patti
Auto immune diseases is the formation of antibodies that attack the own body - can be caused by in-born factors, or by virus or bacterial infections. Some people also have a genetic problem with blood that clots easier than normal people. They will probably put her on preventative treatment from now on?
