Blood Donation
I gave blood today and while i was giving blood it clotted and they had to stop.

Why would this happen?

Clotting is a normal process of the body. You can however, consult your doctor to have a bleeding time test done. A small incision is made in the skin and it is then timed to see how fast the blood clots. If your readings are abnormal, your doctor can do further tests to excluded any abnormal processes.
