Blue ears
Doc, is there any general explanation as to why the bottom part (the hanging down bit) of both my ears have turned blue-ish?
Dear Dan
Thank you for visiting health24.com.
The colour of your ears are determined by the amount of blood flow through them, as well as the pigment of the skin. If it appears blue-ish it could be due to lessened blood flow through your ears. What the cause for this is, is uncertain. It can possibly caused by smoking (if you are a smoker).
Kind regards
Dr Anrich Burger
