I have recently started to train for a triathalon. When reading your tips on swimming you refer to "cadence" Please tel me what does this refer to?

These aren't my tips - I'm not sure which tips you refer to?
However, cadence refers to the number of strokes per minute - ie if you were swimming faster, your cadence would be higher.
