can an abortion cause endometriosis?
I have been told that I possibly have endometriosis. I had an abortion 10 years ago - could this have caused the endometriosis? My symptoms have only come up in the last 5 months though.
I also had an op on my urethra to widen it about 2 years ago - could this also be a cause?

Neither of these would cause endometriosis. It is thought to be caused by backflow of blood during menstruation - this is not under your control.
