Can insertion of UID cause miscarriage?
I recently had a NOVA T380 UID put in. I told the Dr I suspect I was pregnant. He still put the device in saying I was mostly definitely not pregnant. However after I left him I went for a blood test that confirmed pregnancy. I started bleeding heavily and cramping. I contacted the Dr who said there was nothing to be done we must repeat the pregnanct test a few days later. When I did retest the HCG levels had dropped and I had lost the baby. I already have had a successful pregnancy. Could the insertion of the UID caused me to miscarry?
