I am asking this question from a diabetics point of view.
What is carob used for and if chocolate is made from this product can I eat it

The seeds of the carob tree are used in diabetic chocolate to impart a characteristic taste, but check out the energy and fat contents of such products as they can be just as, or even higher than standard chocolate. So go easy on the diabetic chocolate.
