Child 5yrs crying when sleeping about her legs
Hi there, we have restless legs in the family.... can it be inhereted. My child is 5 yrs when she is very active she crys at night saying her legs hurt....what can it be and what will help

Most certainly restless legs can be inherited.

The inherited variety is often associated with a reduction of a chemical in the blood called transferrin. This can easily be tested for. If it is there, then increasing the iron intake in the form of tablets will usually control the problem.
