Cortisone nasal sprays
Can long term use of cortisone nasal spray (Beclate) cause weight gain? I know this is the case with cortisone taken orally. Even though it's in spray form, does the cortisone not enter the body through the mucous membranes? or via the stomach when it goes down the back of the throat.
Many thanks

Dear Jenna Vee
No, the cortisone dosage that is absorbed by the body is minimal and it won't cause weight gain.
