DARK SKIN
When I am pregnant my face skin turns to be more dark than my body. I have been advised by other to use sunscreen. What causes this and what should I use to protect my skin. This is my third pregnancy.
This is one of the effects of the pregnancy hormones that there is darkening of the skin, most commonly on the cheeks and the line on your tummy. This is worsened by exposure to sun, so the best way to help lessen this effect is to use a good sunblock on your face.
