Depression
I have been told that Cognative Beahvioral Theraphy (CBT) is as effective if not more than medication and there is fewer chances of relapse. Are there any psychologists who practice CBT in South Africa (JHB) and if so where can they be contacted.

Julian, all psychologists and psychiatrists in SA are trained in CBT and you can just ask your GP to refer you to someone in your area. It all depends on who and what you’re treating whether CBT or drugs is the best option. Good luck.
