doubting mind
If a person questions actions/situations of those around you. Even small things. And wonder now why did they do it this or that way. Or wonder if somebody maybe said something about you, or they now something you don’t. Is it a trust issue, confidence?

I feel very silly in admitting but I can get extremely paranoid about things and situations. My logical mid does kick in and say stop being silly. But then my thought just wonder again

Probably a mixture of each of the elements you mention, and then some. There's an obsessive quality to not recognizing when to stop questioning, when to recognize that you already have a good-enough answer, when further worying about the question will muddy the water and make you less sure rather than more. Obsessives lack a useful sense of Enoughness.
