"dying" placenta / "aged" placenta
What does it mean, or is it harmfull for my 36week old unborn baby if the docter told me that my afterbirth has aged?

What will be the comlications if any?
Will my baby survive?
What causes the placenta to age/die?

Kind Regards

The placenta does age towards the end of a pregnancy. It would depend on the degree of this. I am sure that, if there was a problem, your doctor would deliver you early.

Best wishes
