Flying during pregnancy
My daughters placenta is lying low and we would lie to know up until what time can she still fly . She is at present in the UK .Will it be better for her to have a cessarean birth

It depends on how far pregnant she is. If she is less than 26 weeks pregnant, low lying placenta are quite common. After this there is a risk of bleeding and flying would not be advisable. Most airlines do not allow pregnant women to fly after 32 weeks. This might be a bit earlier in your daughter's case. If the placenta remains low-lying, a caesarean section would be necessary.
