FOSTER CHILDREN
MY SISTER IS FOSTERING 2 GIRLS AGED 9 AND 15. BOTH WERE SEXUALLY MOLESTED. THEY ARE NOW JEALOUS OF EACH OTHER AND MY SISTER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THEM. THE YOUNGER ONE THROWS TANTRUMS WHEN SHE CANNOT SLEEP WITH MY SISTER IN HER DOUBLE BED BECAUSE SHE GETS NIGHTMARES AND SCREAMS AND NOW USES THAT EXCUSE TO SLEEP IN HER BED. THE SOCIAL WORKER SAID TO MY SISTER NOT TO ALLOW IT BECAUSE OF SEXUAL IMPLICATIONS IN THE LEGAL SYSTEM. THE TWO GIRLS ALSO LIKE BATH TOGETHER LIKE WE DID AS CHILDREN AND WASH EACH OTHERS HAIR BUT THE SOCIAL WORKER DID NOT LIKE THAT EITHER (AGAIN THE SEXUAL THING). WHAT SHOULD SHE DO?

An often overlooked problem in the wake of early molestation, is that even probably innocent situations later in life can get sexualized and rendered sinister, by these individuals themselves or other people, causing complications.
But I agree with Buffs that 15 is too old to be sharing baths with a younger child. The welfare authorities ought to be providing a means for the girls to receive individual counselling to deal with their problems.
