Fussed DISCS
If a person has 2 fused discs 4th & 5th Vetebrae pressing on a nerve and causing numbness on the hands and feet? What can be done to reverse it. If a person is more than 75years old is the operation advisable? Does Johnnesburg Hospital conduct such operations? If there condition has been there for a month can it still be reversable?

Ntombi, it might just be due to inflammation and then it would be fairly easy to treat. I can’t say whether she’s fit for an operation, but her age doesn’t disqualify her per se. The best would be to have her see one of the neurosurgeons at JHB Gen. Good luck.
