Hirsitism (excessive hair growth and in wrong places) can be caused by hormones that are not balanced (typically testosterone) and Cushing's syndrome. Cushing's syndrome is where your adrenal glands are affected. A blood test can determine what is cauing your excessive hair. To test for your complete hormone profile : estrogen, progesterone and testosterone (free and sex hormone binding globulin), and your cortisol levels (fasting).

This will give you an indication. Best to consult a practitioner as this could be a symptom of a underlying cause.
