Hair loss while Breastfeeding
I have a 3 month old baby. I am breastfeeding only at night. I have discovered that my hair is falling out. When i wash my hair, lumps of hair fall out. I experienced hair loss with my first child who is now 8 years old. My hair has thinned out alot since having my children and has never returned to its full thickness. What can I do to prevent more hairloss. I am taking a prenatal multivitaminis.

Hi Linda
Ask your doctor to please check at least your thyroid hormone levels and iron levels - both can cause hairloss. It can also happen due to stress, hormonal factors ( low estrogen) , illness, a difficult pregnancy, certain vitamin shortages.
