Dear Vees
Some research results indicate that individuals who have a low body fat percentage and a relatively low BMI, which is still within the normal range of say 19-20, may experience fewer illnesses and be less likely to develop certain diseases such as gallstones, heart disease, diabetes, etc. However, if your BMI is lower than 19 then you are also in danger of ill health and may be tending towards anorexia.
