Hemorroidal Laparactomy
Dear Cyberdoc, thank you for your kind answer. Excuse me, you are right, I was referring to a laparoscopy.I was interested in that procedure because I thought that way cutting the anal sphincter -as in the case of laser surgery-could be avoided.
Francisco, the anal sphincter isn’t cut during a haemorrhoidectomy – it’s just stretched enough to give access to the internal haemorrhoid. Let me know if you need to know more. Good luck.
