HERPES ZOSTER / SINGLES - CONTAGIOUS
I've read the A-Z guide on illnesses - just want to know if Herpes Zoster is contagious?

Christel, for all practical reasons it’s not contagious. I suppose in theory a patient may transmit the virus to another immune compromised person by direct contact, but a patient with shingles won’t give it to someone else. Good luck.
