high cholesterol
dear doctor
i have high cholesterol
i am 54 years old.
i use 20 mg. lipitor per day.
can herbs like ginkgo reduce the cholesterol level ?
are their any herbs that can replace medication ?

William, as far as I know there is no herb powerful enough that can do what Lipitor® 20mg per day can do with as little side effects as Lipitor®. I doubt that ginko will make a significant difference. Good luck.
