High potassium and CO2 (bicarbonate) lev
Recent blood test revealed following levels:
sodium - 137mmol/L (135 -150)
potassium - 5.3mmol/L (3.5-5.1) HIGH
chloride - 101mmol/L (98-107)
ToT. CO2 (bicarbonate) 33 (21-29) HIGH
URIC ACID 0.45mmol/L (.26-.45)
Please advise whether above two levels are cause for concern?

High potassium can cause heart arrythmias and the high bicarb/high potassium can also be seen in patients after injury, with infections or with kidney problems. It needs to be monitored and managed.
