Honey &amp  Cinnamon

I recently read that if you drink a honey and cinnamon mix with hot water half an hour before breakfast and again when you go to bed it helps you loose weight. They say regular use prevents your bodys ability to store excess fat.

Is this true?

I have just read a review of research studies that were done to investigate if cinnamon helps with weightloss and/or diabetes, and the results showed that cinnamon does not seem to make a difference.
