How do you eat a mango?
I was reading a book,and the people in the book were eating mangoes with the skin on them. Is that o.k. or are you always supposed to peal them?

I think that author of that book was writing about something he/she knows nothing about! I have a series of international cookery books and in the one on the Caribbean cousine, they specifically WARN readers to peel all mangoes and to wash their hands after peeling them to prevent allergic reactions. So please do peal any mangoes that you eat!
