How to quit
Hi, do you recommend a natural approach to quitting like weening yourself off over time, or should one rather get radical and go on a drug like nicorette?

It depends on the individual of course, but I would recommend using all and any means available. Nicorette is not really 'radical', it's simply one of the tools you can try. Remember, you are already doing something highly UNnatural i.e. smoking! which puts potent drugs into your body. Nicorette merely replaces one of those drugs to help you quit smoking: nicotine. Nicotine is the addictive substance, but it does very little harm to you compared with tar and other toxins in cigarettes. Many experts say it is better to try quitting 'cold turkey' than trying to cut back, but any reduction in smoking is helpful.
