HRT LONG TERM
Mother has been on HRT for past 10 yrs AGE 64YRS. what are long terms use of HRT. Bone density test fine. mamogram clear. She has HRT 20mg implant every 6 months. when implant is about to finish she gets very weak physically. if she comes of HRT due to high risk reasons how does one cope??

If she came off HRT, chances are that she would not have symptoms like hot flushes, etc. If the bone density scan is okay now, she should be safe from osteoporosis for many years. If the only symptom is tiredness, she could try vitamin supplements.
