hungry cat
Do cats become more hungry in cold weather? I've noticed my elderly adult female cat demanding additional food now that the weather is colder. If so, how much extra food should I give her? She is on Iams adult which I mix with the light version as she is a little overweight (5.5kgs)

This is my first cat so this maybe a silly question ...

It is quite possible that she may be more hungry in the winter, because more energy is spent staying warm. Feed her maybe 20% more, however keep a close watch on her figure so that she does not become overweight!
