Hysterectomy and HRT
I am a 39-year old with two children and I have had a tubal ligation. My gynae says that because of my history of endometriosis, resulting in heavy, long, irregular periods and acute pain, I am a candidate for a hysterectomy. I have already had two laparoscopic DD&Cs with endometrial ablation but the problem still persists. Would I need a full or partial hysterectomy and if the latter, would I still need HRT? Are there natural alternatives to HRT?
