I Am Worried - Down Syndrome
I went for my 12 week scan and baby was all active. My gynea spotted a thick skin layer on the back of baby's neck and said it may be a sign of a Downs baby... she reckoned that i go do further test but hubby and i have grown so attached to baby that we would wanna avoid any dissapointment. Plus, the tests are pretty costly... what should i do?
BTW, i am 22 years old and this is my first pregnancy....
You have to decide whether you could live with a baby with Down syndrome or not. If not, you should have the further tests to know for sure.
