Dear Bibi
The following foods are the best sources of bioavailable iron: liver, organ meats, red meat, chicken, fish, egg yolk - you will also obtain quite a bit of iron from iron-fortified breakfast cereals, dried fruit and legumes (dry beans, peas and lentils). If your deficiency persists then you may have to take an iron-vitC-folic acid supplement like FeroFolate, which your dr can prescribed.
