Iron and periods
Hi doc! Can iron deficiency anaemia cause your periods to get less or stop?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Eve
Iron defieciency will not cause your period to stop but severe menstruation will definately cause blood loss and iron defieciency anaemia.
Your weight, pregnancy and hormonal influences can however, cause your periods to become less or stop it.
