kelloggs special k plan
hi all, i am sure u have heard of this plan, eat 2 bowls of special k per day for 2 weeks, of course energy control on remaining meal and exercise. the question- how safe is this, and after 2 weeks will the pounds just pile on?
Dear Jenny
The Special K diet is reasonably balanced and should not cause any deficiencies. If you stop using it and start eating a diet that contains more energy than you use on a daily basis then you will regain the weight you have lost. So by all means use this diet to kick-start your weightloss but use a low-fat diet and exercise as part of your maintenance regimen to ensure that you don't regain all the weight you lose.
Best regards
