KICKSTART METABOLISM
Hi,
I would like to know if a Doctor could prescribe anything that would kick start or improve someones metabolism if as a result of an eating disorder they now have an extremely slow metabolism?

The very best thing for metabolic stimulation is to do regular aerobic exercise every day for 30 or more minutes (e.g. brisk walking, running, jogging, skipping, cycling, swimming, join a gym or Walk for Life). This is by far the healthiest option for improving your metabolism without side-effects which stimulants can cause.
