Lowering heart rate
Hi Cyberdoc
Please can you suggest what I can take to lower my min HR? I have mild hypertension, and by taking Co-Migroben 160/12.5, my blood pressure is great. When cycling, my initial HR seems a bit high (around 100bpm). I''ve heard that beetroot juice would help!
Resting HR is 58, and max is 180.
Many thanks

Your resting heart rate of 58 is normal for a active person between 20 and 30 years of age. I do not think that you should worry about lowering your heart rate.
