I need do get the Mirena insertion, my medical dont cover the device, how much can I expect to pay for it and I dont need a precription, do I? As I need to buy it myself and take it with to the hospital the day the gynae are doing the insertion?

Mirena WILL require a prescription if you buy it from a retail pharmacy. I suggest giving the gynae's ofiice a call to find out whether they dont supply the device too - Otherwise, ask the receptionist to get the doctor to fax you prescription.
