more about perimenopause
I am 35 and will probably only be ready for kids in the next 5 years.. is there anything i can do to avoid perimenopause? increase my changes of conceiving and having healthy children.

You can't do anything to change the time of menopause. Fertility does fall off with age as the eggs get older, and you can't do anything about this. When you are trying to conceive, folate tablets are useful to help prevent spina bifida.
