If you are under 40, do not smoke and do not have high blood pressure, increased cholesterol or heart problems, your options are the oral contraceptive, injectable or IUCD. If any of the above apply, you should not take the Pill, but the others are fine. The injectable does tend to stop periods. you can read more about contraception under the A-Z of diseases.
