I was put on fertomid a month ago (1 50mg tab from days 5-9) because my progesterone levels were too low, preventing ovulation. At 21 days my blood test showed that my prgesterone levels were fine. However, I have been using the fertile focus ovulation microscsope to test my spit and it shows absolutely no change when I am supposed to be ovulating. Is it possibel that even though my hormones are now fine that I am still not ovulating? I have used the microscope exactly as described.

Dear Jo

I am not familiar with the fertile focus method of testing for ovulation. Therefore I cannot comment on its accuracy. We have found the Clearplan ovulation kit reasonably reliable, using urine for LH surge detection. I suggest you try this method.
