Attie, it sounds like it might be due to a problem in your neck. You can try taking anti-inflammatory drugs (Arthrotec®, Brufen®, Celebrex®, etc.) for a couple of days, but if it doesn’t clear up taking x-rays of your neck would be the next step to take. It they’re normal, the best would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
