Painful neck muscles
It feels as though 2 particular neck muscles (left & right) in the area of either collarbone is inflamed. Painful when I raise my arms - e.g. combing my hair is a major effort. Any idea what the cause and remedy could be? Thanx for your time, Doc.
Dear Sam
It may be inflamed if you did something that put a lot of strain on them - try anti-inflammatory tablets like Neurofen or rub with Voltaren. Sometimes physio may be needed to reduce muscle spasm and pain cycle.
