Parkinsons
Hello,
Please would you tell me if someone with Parkinsons can have mental health issues. My Father has being admitted into a pyschiatric hospital. I was wondering if this was due to his Parkinsons and if it is related.

Dear Jas,
People with Parkinsons can develop mental illness - they usually develop depression but can also develop dementia which makes them very disorientated, forgetful etc. It could be related to his Parkinsons.
