Piet, the best treatment to take would be a proton pump inhibitor (Nexiam®, Pantoloc®, Lanzor®, Pariet®, etc.).
No firm evidence proves that any diet speeds healing or prevents recurrence. The only thing that has been consistently proven to cause ulcers, is pepper. Foods that often cause irritation include fruit juices, spicy foods, fatty foods and coffee (even decaffeinated). Smoking is a definite no-no and alcohol may also cause problems.
For a more extensive list you should contact DietDoc. Good luck.
