My daughter of 15 years has got serious mentrual pains (her first day), I took her to a GP but the medication does nothing.
Q. what are the causes?
Q. what can be used to cure them?
Q. Are there any special diets?

This is typical primary or 'normal' period pains.
You don't say what medication she was given. Ponstan often helps, especially if it is started a day or two before the period is due. The Pill also helps.
