I am 30 weeks 2 days. My Placenta is calcifying. What does this Mean?

This mean that the placenta is developing hard patches that cannot transfer blood and nutrients. If this is serious your doctor will advice you to have a c-section, since then the baby will not be receiving enough nourishment and cannot grow. It can however only be pathces that are affected and then they will monitor the baby and not neccesarily do something about it.
