please help
i had my period on the 30th of december for two days and on the 20th of january comes blackish sustance for two days and it used to be two days earlier so today i was expecting it since i think that was not blood its not there yet what can be the course of this.
A blackish vaginal discharge is often indicative of old blood which as been stagnant for some time. This may be one of the first signs of endometriosis or adenomyosis (a form of endometriosis affecting the uterine walls or muscles). It would therefore be advisable to have a careful gynecological assessment including possibly laparoscopy to exclude these possibilities.
